SchoolLocator UK allows users to search for High Schools in England and Scotland by town name
or postcode.
Utilising the published databases for English High Schools and Scottish High Schools, SchoolLocator
UK displays the nearest high schools to an inputted location. The user can select a high schools from
the list and view the location of the high school on high quality street maps. SchoolLocator UK
extracts the organisation details and the last four years of examination results for English High Schools
and Scottish High Schools from the published databases. This information can then be compared to the
Local Education Authority (LEA) examination results and to the National examination results, to give an
indication of how well the school is doing.
When viewing the details and examination results of the schools, the user can also see the nearest primary
schools to the selected high school. When searching for English High Schools the user can see the Standard
Attainment Test (SATs) results for the primary school. When searching for Scottish High Schools the user can
view the details of the selected primary school (examination results are not available for primary schools in
scotland).
